Company Description Writers’ Guild Manipur (WGM) is a community-driven organization that offers professional services and programs in outreach, publishing, and soft skills mentorship. WGM collaborates with individuals, educational institutions, organizations, and communities to create opportunities for learning, expression, personal development, and social engagement. Its work spans community outreach activities, awareness programs, events, and initiatives that promote creative writing and publishing.

WGM runs mentorship programs, workshops, and trainings focused on communication, public speaking, confidence building, and other interpersonal skills. The organization’s vision is to build a strong ecosystem where ideas, skills, creativity, and opportunities come together to empower individuals as capable and responsible contributors to society.

Role Description The Soft Skills Coach is a part time, remote role responsible for designing and delivering engaging mentorship sessions, workshops, and trainings on soft skills such as communication, public speaking, confidence building, and professional etiquette. The coach will plan session content, create learning materials and activities, and facilitate interactive group and one-on-one mentoring for diverse participants. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing learner needs,



providing constructive feedback, tracking progress, and adapting coaching methods to different age groups and backgrounds.

The role also involves collaborating with the WGM team on program development, contributing to outreach initiatives, and maintaining accurate records of sessions and participant outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in public speaking, presentation delivery, and group facilitation.
- Candidates should possess abilities in coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive, supportive feedback.
- Candidates should possess skills in planning workshops, structuring training content, and organizing learning activities.
- Candidates should possess digital literacy skills, including comfort with online meeting platforms and remote collaboration tools.
- Relevant experience in teaching, training, counseling, leadership development, or soft skills coaching is highly beneficial.
- A background in education, psychology, communication, human resources, or a related field is an advantage.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered approaches are expected.
