(Softgel Operator)

Role & responsibilities

1. Gelatin Section

Operate gelatin preparation and melting equipment as per SOP/BMR. Monitor temperature, viscosity and other critical process parameters.

Ensure proper gelatin preparation, transfer and storage.

Perform equipment cleaning and changeover activities.

1. Medicament / Fill Preparation Section

Perform dispensing and preparation of medicament/fill material as per BMR. Operate and monitor mixing/homogenization equipment.

Maintain required process parameters and ensure uniformity of the fill material.

Complete batch documentation and follow GMP requirements.

1. Encapsulation Section

Operate and monitor Softgel encapsulation machines. Monitor fill weight, shell thickness, machine speed, temperature and other process parameters.

Ensure proper encapsulation, quality and yield.

Carry out machine cleaning, changeover and line clearance as per SOP.

Report breakdowns, deviations and process abnormalities.

Follow cGMP, SOPs, safety and data-integrity requirements.

Maintain BMR, logbooks,



checklists and other production records.

Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering and Warehouse for smooth batch execution.

Achieve production targets while minimizing material loss and downtime.

Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma or relevant qualification.

15 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical / OSD / Softgel manufacturing.

Experience in Gelatin, Medicament/Fill Preparation or Encapsulation preferred.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
