Job Summary

Solarrun is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our social media presence. The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media, content creation, trends, and audience engagement, with the ability to develop content that strengthens brand visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the brand's marketing goals.
- Manage social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Develop engaging posts, reels, stories, captions, and other social media content.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to produce high-quality creatives.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, formats, and social media trends.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement.
- Build and maintain an active online community around the brand.
- Track social media performance, including reach, engagement, followers, and leads.
- Prepare regular social media performance reports and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Stay updated with changes in social media algorithms, features, and best practices.




- Assist with influencer collaborations and social media campaigns when required.

Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Social Media Management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Good understanding of social media trends and content formats.
- Excellent communication and caption-writing skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
- Ability to understand social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a creative team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in Social Media/Digital Marketing is an added advantage.

Preferred
- Experience in creating and managing Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
- Basic understanding of Meta Business Suite and social media advertising.
- Experience working with influencers or content creators.
- A robust social media portfolio is an advantage.
