Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for planning, creating, and managing TCIS’s social media presence across multiple platforms. The role involves developing and executing content calendars, publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and optimizing performance to strengthen brand visibility and community interaction.

The Social Media

Manager will collaborate with academic and administrative teams to highlight school events, student achievements, and campus life in alignment with TCIS’s educational philosophy.



Daily tasks include writing and editing social media copy, coordinating visual content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing analytics to refine strategies. The role also includes staying updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure TCIS maintains an engaging and contemporary digital presence.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and refine platform-specific campaigns.
- Ability to develop and implement effective Content Strategy aligned with institutional goals and brand guidelines.
- Excellent Writing and Communication skills to create clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate social media content.
- Experience managing social media accounts for educational institutions or similar organizations is an advantage.
- Proficiency with social media analytics tools and basic understanding of visual content creation (e.g., using Canva or similar tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Awareness of child-safe communication practices and sensitivity to multicultural and inclusive representation in school communications.
