About the Role
Cognisphere Global Ltd is seeking a creative and hands-on Social Media Content Creator Intern who can turn ideas into original, polished and engaging visual content. The content must do more than look attractive. It should capture attention, communicate a clear message and encourage relevant audiences to watch, save, share, comment, click or take action.
You will work closely with our Social Media Expert to produce content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. This is not a role for someone who depends on AI to generate complete images or videos. AI may be used intelligently for limited supporting elements, research or ideation, but candidates must possess the practical design, illustration, animation and editing skills needed to produce the main creative output themselves.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn briefs and concepts into engaging, audience-focused visual content.
- Create strong visual hooks that capture attention within the opening seconds or first slide.
- Use visual storytelling, composition, pacing, captions and calls to action to maintain audience interest.
- Design and edit images, carousels, videos and animations.
- Create original caricatures, cartoons and animated characters when required.
- Adapt content to the format, dimensions, audience and viewing behaviour of each platform.
- Work with the Social Media Expert to follow monthly content calendars and campaign objectives.
- Use creative and performance feedback to improve future content.
- Maintain visual consistency and follow Cognisphere’s brand guidelines.
- Organise project files and deliver completed assets on schedule.
- Respect platform content policies,
copyright and licensing requirements.
Use of AI
AI should support -not replace -the candidate’s creative abilities. Candidates must be able to:
- Use AI intelligently for ideation, research or selected supporting elements.
- Recognise the limitations, risks and inconsistencies of AI-generated material.
- Create and edit the main visual output themselves.
- Review all content for originality, accuracy, quality and brand suitability.
- Ensure that the finished work reflects human creative judgement and practical production skills.
- Complete images, videos or animations should not simply be generated by AI and submitted as finished creative work.
Required Skills
- Strong creative thinking and visual storytelling
- Ability to create content that captures and holds audience attention
- Understanding of what makes social media content engaging and shareable
- Hands-on graphic design and image-editing ability
- Video editing and short-form content production
- Illustration, caricature or cartoon-development skills
- Basic animation or motion-graphics ability
- Understanding of composition, typography, colour and visual hierarchy
- Awareness of platform-specific content formats and audience behaviour
- Ability to take a concept from initial idea to finished output
- Attention to detail and willingness to accept feedback
- Good communication, organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Social Media Expert
Equipment and Software
Candidates must have
- Their own reliable laptop or desktop computer
- A stable internet connection
- Professional design, image-editing, video-editing and animation software already installed and properly licensed
- The technical ability to complete and export production-ready assets independently
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Figma or equivalent skilled software is welcome. Candidates do not need to use every tool listed. Who Can Apply?
A particular degree is not mandatory. Your skills, portfolio, creativity and ability to turn concepts into engaging, high-quality content are more important than formal qualifications. Applicants must be available for a full-time, six-month work-from-home internship and able to start immediately.
Future Opportunity
High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time position at Cognisphere after successfully completing the internship and, where applicable, their degree.
Selection Process
1. Practical skills assessment
2. Skills and technical interview
3. Final interview with the Management
