Role Description The SOC Intern role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dehradun, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the intern will assist with monitoring security events, reviewing logs, and helping identify potential threats or vulnerabilities across systems and applications.

Daily responsibilities may include supporting incident response activities, documenting findings, and contributing to security reports under the guidance of senior team members. The intern will also collaborate with technical and training teams to understand security best practices, maintain documentation,



and help improve SOC processes and tools. This position offers practical exposure to cybersecurity operations within a growing tech and education-focused organization.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including network security, threat detection, and incident response.
- Basic familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), command-line tools, and common networking protocols.
- Ability to analyze logs and data from security tools or monitoring systems, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills for documenting incidents, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Dehradun in a hybrid model and manage tasks responsibly when working from home.
- Interest in continuous learning, including participation in internal training programs and staying updated on emerging security trends.
