ROLE: Snowflake Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in Python and SQL. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize cloud-native data pipelines, data models, and scalable data warehousing solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to streamline data integration and drive robust business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Pipeline & ELT Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python and Snowflake.
- Database & Schema Design: Create and optimize Snowflake objects including schemas, tables, views, external stages, and streams & tasks.
- Advanced SQL & Optimization: Write complex,



highly performant SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions (UDFs/UDTFs). Tune query performance using Snowflake Query Profiles, clustering keys, and warehouse sizing.
- Python Automation & Scripting: Build custom Python scripts/utilities for data processing, metadata-driven loads, file handling, error logging, and API or cloud integrations.
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Implement up-to-date data warehousing methodologies (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
- Performance & Cost Governance: Monitor and optimize Snowflake resource utilization (compute and storage costs) to balance performance with financial efficiency.
