We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, microservices, and data migration from legacy systems to Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, migrate legacy data platforms to Snowflake, implement Snowpipe for automated data ingestion, and integrate cloud-based data services using microservices and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Perform data migration from legacy databases, data warehouses, and file-based systems to Snowflake.
- Develop and configure Snowpipe for automated and continuous data ingestion into Snowflake.
- Build and optimize data transformation processes using SQL, Snowflake Streams, Tasks, stored procedures, and related features.
- Integrate Snowflake with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Blob Storage.
- Develop and support microservices and REST APIs for data ingestion, integration, and downstream data consumption.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency during migration.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse utilization, and data processing performance.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, ingestion issues,



and integration problems across cloud and legacy environments.
- Collaborate with data architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related development roles.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and strong SQL skills.
- Experience migrating data from legacy systems to Snowflake or another contemporary cloud data platform.
- Practical experience with Snowpipe or automated Snowflake data ingestion.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services and data integration tools.
- Experience with microservices or REST API-based integration.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data quality practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience migrating data from SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or other legacy data platforms.
- Familiarity with Snowflake external stages, Azure Blob Storage, and event-driven ingestion.
- Experience with Python-based data processing or automation.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.
- Understanding of cloud security, role-based access control, and data governance.
