The incumbent will be responsible for planning & execution of projects, including project scheduling control & coordination of site activities. The job entails staying at outstation sites for long duration. The incumbent is required to have relevant experience in an organisation handling electrical turnkey projects involving EHV sub-station from 66kv upto 400kv.

This is a challenging position responsible to perform a technical, organisational and supervisory role on projects. The position would be responsible for marking out the site, applying designs and plans. The position would also be responsible for liaising with sub contractors. The incumbent would work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organisation and supervision of material and human resources.

Job responsibilities

Civil works:

- Guiding the substation layout and civil diagrams to the subcontractor.
- Make target for each work i.e. transformer plinth, equipment and gantry foundations, cable trench, earth mat and earth pit, metal spreading works etc.
- Execute the above mentioned work.




- Checking the quality of the work daily.
- Intimate the progress of work to office.
- Dealing billing works with sub-contractor and project management.

Electrical works:

- Short out the structural materials and equipment with respect to the approved BOQ,.
- Make target for each work i.e. support structure erection, gantry erection, equipment erection, power transformer erection, jumpering, earthing works, cable laying and termination.
- Execute the above mentioned work.
- Calculate the actual cable requirement in site and intimate to office.
- Checking the quality of the work daily.
- Intimate the progress of work to office.
- Dealing billing works with sub-contractor and project management.
- Supervising the oil filtration process.
- Supervision of Testing .

Other Site works:

- Loading and unloading of materials at site.
- Preparing bills for loading and unloading.
- Intimate the shortages of materials to office and arrange it in the possible time.
- Dealing with customer for approval of earth mat drawing and all.
