We’re Hiring

PYTHAL is looking for an experienced Shopify Website Developer & E-commerce Specialist to take ownership of our online store from development and design implementation to performance, integrations and ongoing optimisation.

This is not just a website maintenance role. We are looking for someone who understands Shopify deeply, has a strong eye for premium website presentation, and knows how to build an e-commerce experience that converts.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customise and maintain the PYTHAL Shopify website
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Customise themes, sections, product pages, collection pages and landing pages
- Implement designs accurately from Figma or designer references
- Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness and overall performance
- Set up and manage Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- Configure payment gateways, shipping, checkout and related e-commerce functions
- Handle product uploads, variants, collections, pricing and inventory structure
- Implement GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking
- Work on technical SEO, redirects, metadata, schema and website structure
- Troubleshoot bugs, app conflicts, theme issues and checkout-related problems
- Build campaign and promotional landing pages
- Improve UX, conversion rate and customer journey
- Coordinate with graphic designers, marketing and performance advertising teams
- Maintain backups,



security practices and proper documentation of website changes
- Continuously test and improve the store based on customer behaviour and performance data

What We’re Looking For
- Proven qualified experience developing Shopify e-commerce websites
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with Shopify theme development and customisation
- Good understanding of UI/UX and premium e-commerce design
- Knowledge of Shopify apps, APIs and integrations
- Understanding of SEO, analytics, pixels and conversion tracking
- Ability to optimise website speed and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with Git/version control is an advantage
- Basic understanding of marketplace/e-commerce operations is an advantage
- Ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver within timelines
