Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Shirt Line Assembly Supervisor who has strong practical knowledge of production line balancing, manpower allocation, and garment assembly operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production of shirt assembly lines.
- Balance the production line according to operation-wise SMV and target.
- Allocate operators according to their skills and operation efficiency.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to maintain smooth production flow.
- Set and monitor hourly/daily production targets.
- Coordinate with Cutting, Quality, Finishing and Production teams.
- Monitor operator efficiency, absenteeism and manpower requirements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze line performance and take corrective action to improve productivity.
- Maintain proper production records and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shirt/garment manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of shirt stitching and assembly operations.
- Must have practical experience in line balancing and production planning.
- Good understanding of SMV, operation breakdown and manpower planning.
- Ability to handle operators and manage production pressure.
- Experience with woven shirts/uniform shirts will be preferred.
