Livio Building Systems Private Limited is Hiring: Production Shift In-charge - LGS/Structural Steel Fabrication (Off-site Construction)

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
- ITI with substantial supervisory experience in steel fabrication may also be considered.

Role Overview:

The Production Shift In-Charge will be responsible for managing the entire production activities during the assigned shift. The role involves overseeing manpower, ensuring smooth workflow across fabrication and assembly lines, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with engineering and QC teams to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the production floor during the shift.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor tasks to operators, fabricators, and helpers based on production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with production plans, quality requirements, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Team to interpret drawings, resolve technical issues, and implement design revisions effectively.
- Provide feedback to the Engineering and QC teams for process improvement and design optimization.




- Work closely with the QC team to ensure all fabricated panels meet quality standards and rectify any non-conformities.
- Monitor material flow, machine utilization, and manpower efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks or operational challenges and implement quick corrective actions.
- Maintain shift records, including production output, downtime, and labor attendance.
- Ensure adherence to 5S, housekeeping, and safety standards.
- Train, guide, and motivate shop floor employees to achieve production excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Experience:

5 to7 years in a similar supervisory/shift in-charge role in:
- Cold Formed Steel (CFS) / Light Gauge Steel (LGS) manufacturing
- Pre-engineered Building (PEB) fabrication
- Structural steel assembly or modular construction, off-site fabrication industry

- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, material handling, and quality inspection.
- Familiarity with production planning and reporting tools.

- Leadership Skills:
- Strong people management and communication abilities.
- Decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Soft Skills:
- Proactive attitude, strong coordination, and attention to detail.
- Valuable understanding of safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
