Position: Sheet Metal Operator

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Operator to fabricate and process aerospace sheet metal components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI Pass Out with 2–3 years of relevant work experience in sheet metal operations, or
- ITI candidate with relevant apprenticeship experience.
- Positive knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T; concepts, and dimensional requirements .

Key Responsibilities
- Perform sheet metal forming, trimming, heat treatment dressing, drilling, and shape correction .
- Work with tool blocks, drill jigs, and sheet metal fixtures .
- Operate NC bending machines, rubber press machines, and shearing machines .
- Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings and execute jobs accordingly.
- Select the appropriate sheet metal based on material type, thickness/gauge, and size as per drawing requirements.
- Mark and measure sheets using scriber, square, divider, foot rule, and other measuring tools .




- Maintain required dimensions and specifications using appropriate sheet metal tools and measuring instruments .
- Perform basic sheet metal heat treatment processes such as annealing, solutionizing, and aging .
- Follow OEE, 5S, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D and applicable aerospace quality standards .
- Work with different types of sheet metals used in aircraft/aerospace structures .
- Ensure all fabricated components meet required quality and dimensional standards.
