Role Description The Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajarhat, focused on supporting and maintaining IBC Cube’s road infrastructure technology solutions.
Responsibilities include performing on-site installation, configuration, testing, and routine maintenance of hardware and software systems such as IoT devices, cameras, and mobile-based tools. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, executing repairs, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure minimal downtime and reliable operation.
The Service
Engineer will interact with clients and field staff to provide technical support, document service activities, and ensure accurate reporting of defects, maintenance work, and system status. This position requires frequent field visits, adherence to safety and quality standards, and proactive identification of improvements in system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience with on-site installation, configuration, and customer-facing support.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for electronic equipment, cameras, IoT devices, and related systems.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in field environments, travel to project sites, and follow safety and compliance guidelines.
- Familiarity with infrastructure, roads, or construction projects and basic understanding of IoT or surveillance systems is an advantage.
- Solid documentation habits, time management, and a willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
