Job Title: SEO & GEO / SEM Lead

Role Overview

This role will lead strategy, execution excellence, and capability maturity for search operations, while managing large delivery teams and acting as the senior clientfacing authority for search programs.

The role requires a solid blend of handson search expertise, people's leadership, operational governance, and executive communication

Key Responsibilities

SEO & GEO/ SEM Leadership

- • Own and lead the SEO &GEO; / SEM Center of Excellence, including vision, operating model, governance, and KPIs
- • Define and standardize search playbooks, frameworks, SLAs, and reusable assets
- • Lead and mentor large global teams (3050+ resources) across SEO and SEM
- SEO Leadership
- • Own enterpriselevel SEO strategy and execution (technical SEO, onpage, content SEO, and governance)
- • Drive SEO integration across campaigns, content, owned media, and web platforms
- • Establish SEO measurement frameworks, dashboards, and continuous optimization processes
- • Ensure SEO best practices are embedded into design, development, and content workflows
- SEM / Paid Search Leadership
- • Lead SEM / Paid Search operations across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and related platforms
- • Oversee keyword strategy, bidding, budget pacing, performance optimization, and reporting
- • Partner with media, analytics, and marketing teams to improve ROAS, CAC, and conversion performance

Stakeholder & Client Leadership

- • Act as senior client interface for SEO &GEO; and SEM engagements
- • Provide clear executivelevel communication, reporting, and performance narratives
- • Translate business objectives into scalable, measurable search strategies

Delivery Excellence & Optimization

- • Ensure predictable delivery, SLA adherence,



and quality across search programs
- • Drive automation, tooling, and efficiency across SEO and SEM workflows
- • Enable smooth collaboration with Campaign Ops, Ad Ops, and Marketing Ops teams

Required Skills & Experience
- • 12–18+ years of experience in SEO, SEM, Search Marketing, or Performance Marketing
- • Strong handson expertise in SEO and Paid Search execution
- • Proven experience leading large teams (30–50+ members) in complex enterprise environments
- • Experience working in or building Search COEs / large search s
- • Strong understanding of search performance measurement, analytics, and optimization levers
- • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with enterprise websites and largescale SEO programs
- Exposure to MarTech, analytics platforms, tag management, and CMS ecosystems
- Experience supporting global brands and multiregion delivery models
- Background in BFSI, Retail, FMCG, Telecom, or Healthcare domains
