Role Description The Senior Manager – Technology will lead the technology backbone that supports the organisation's manpower security services operations across all client sites. This includes computer hardware and software, networking infrastructure, CCTV and video surveillance, access control systems, and AI-driven solutions used for guard force monitoring, incident detection, and operational efficiency. The role leads a team of 10 qualified support professionals and is accountable for system uptime, security systems reliability, budget management, vendor relationships, and the technology roadmap that enables reliable, technology-augmented security service delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Security Systems & Client Site Infrastructure

- Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of CCTV and video surveillance systems across all client sites and the central command/monitoring centre
- Manage access control systems (biometric/RFID) deployed at client premises, including integration with guard attendance and visitor management systems
- Ensure video management software (VMS), NVR/DVR infrastructure, and storage/retention policies meet client SLAs and statutory requirements
- Act as the technical point of escalation for client-facing security technology issues and site audits
- Support pre-sales and client onboarding with technology scoping for current security contracts (camera counts, access points, connectivity requirements)

IT Infrastructure & Command Centre Operations

- Manage enterprise networking across the head office, branch offices, and client site connectivity (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, redundancy/failover)
- Own hardware and software lifecycle management — procurement, deployment, licensing, patching, and AMC renewals
- Ensure high availability of the central monitoring/command centre systems used for real-time guard and site supervision
- Maintain cybersecurity hygiene across IT and connected security-systems networks (physical–digital security convergence)

AI & Technology-Enabled Security Solutions

- Evaluate and implement AI-based video analytics (intrusion detection, loitering/perimeter alerts, facial recognition, PPE/uniform compliance) to strengthen guard force effectiveness
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools for guard tour management, incident reporting, and real-time dashboards for clients
- Partner with technology vendors/consultants to pilot and scale AI solutions, assessing ROI and client value
- Champion digital transformation initiatives that differentiate the organisation's manpower security offering

Team & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 across networking, CCTV/access control, IT support, and AI/systems functions
- Own hiring, performance reviews, training, and succession planning for the technology team
- Set and monitor team KPIs/SLAs for site uptime, incident response time, and resolution turnaround
- Coordinate with Operations, Client Servicing, and HR teams to align technology support with guard deployment schedules

Budget, Vendor & Governance

- Own the annual technology budget, including AMC renewals, licensing, and capex for new client site rollouts
- Negotiate and manage vendor/OEM contracts for networking, CCTV, access control, and AI platforms

- Act as the single point of accountability during client audits, security incidents, or system failures at any site
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit-readiness (ISO 27001 exposure preferred, given client data and surveillance footage handling)
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and surveillance regulations applicable to client sites and jurisdictions served

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field (mandatory)
- MBA or MTech preferred

Experience

- 10–15+ years in IT/technical roles, including 4–5+ years in a managerial capacity
- Proven experience managing a team of 8–15+ technical staff
- Demonstrated ownership of an IT/technical budget
- Experience managing vendor/AMC contracts at scale
- Experience deploying and managing CCTV, access control, and networking systems across multiple/distributed sites — security services, facilities management, or similar multi-site industry background strongly preferred
- Exposure to guard force / command-centre monitoring technology is a strong advantage

Technical Knowledge

- Enterprise networking (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, VLAN) across distributed/multi-site environments
- Server/OS administration and hardware lifecycle management
- CCTV/VMS systems at scale, with storage/retention and multi-site monitoring experience
- Access control systems and integration with attendance/visitor management platforms
- Working knowledge of AI/ML tools relevant to security — video analytics, automation, predictive alerts
- Cybersecurity fundamentals, particularly around physical security system networks

Key Competencies:

- Strategic thinking with hands-on technical credibility
- Strong stakeholder management across Operations, Client Servicing, Finance, HR, and Compliance
