Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Store Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of our bakery store in Bathinda. The candidate will be responsible for store management, staff supervision, customer service, sales, stock management, cash handling, hygiene, and overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the bakery store.

Supervise and coordinate counter staff, sales staff, and other store employees.

Ensure proper staff attendance, shift management, grooming, discipline, and work allocation.

Handle customer dealing professionally and ensure a positive customer experience.

Oversee sales of cakes, pastries, snacks, biscuits, dry cakes, and other bakery products.

Handle and monitor cake orders, customized cake requirements, and customer requests.

Ensure proper billing, cash handling, UPI/card transactions, and daily sales records.

Monitor daily sales and report store performance to management.

Manage and monitor daily stock levels and product availability.

Check incoming stock for quantity, quality, freshness, and proper packaging.

Monitor expiry and near-expiry products and ensure proper FIFO stock rotation.

Conduct regular physical stock checks and report any shortages, wastage, or discrepancies.

Coordinate with the bakery/kitchen team regarding production, stock requirements, and cake orders.

Ensure proper product display and presentation at the store.

Monitor product quality and immediately report any quality-related issues to management.

Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of the store.

Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, display standards, and overall presentation.





Handle customer complaints and resolve routine issues professionally.

Ensure company policies, SOPs, hygiene standards, and operational procedures are followed.

Monitor staff performance and provide necessary guidance and correction.

Ensure smooth coordination between the store, kitchen/production team, and management.

Prepare and maintain required daily reports, stock records, sales records, and store updates.

Identify operational issues and report them to management with appropriate updates.

Take responsibility for the overall discipline, service quality, and smooth functioning of the store.

Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in store management, bakery, retail, restaurant, FMCG, or a similar industry preferred.

Previous experience as a Store Manager / Senior Store Manager / Bakery Manager will be an advantage.

Strong knowledge of stock management, sales, billing, and customer dealing.

Good understanding of bakery products and cake handling preferred.

Strong staff management and leadership skills.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel/POS/billing software

Valuable cash-handling and reporting skills.

Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and customer-oriented.

Ability to manage a busy store and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Willingness to work according to the assigned shift timings.

Working Hours

7:00 AM to 2:00 PM

2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

Salary: As per experience and skills.
