We are currently hiring for an experienced Senior Technology Lead - Java in Pune for one of our clients.

The role focuses on leading the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using modern Java and cloud-native technologies.

You will work across Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud platforms, DevOps, event-driven architecture, and Generative AI , while providing technical leadership to engineering teams and working closely with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders.

This role is suited to a hands-on technology leader who can combine strong software engineering expertise with solution architecture, technical decision-making, team mentoring, and modern technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications.
- Drive modernization initiatives from monolithic applications toward cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Define engineering standards, coding guidelines, design principles, and architectural best practices.
- Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Drive API-first architecture and enterprise integration strategies.
- Implement event-driven architectures using messaging and streaming platforms.
- Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Lead performance optimization and application reliability initiatives.
- Provide technical mentorship to developers and technical leads.
- Lead cloud adoption and modernization initiatives across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
- Integrate Generative AI, LLM APIs, and AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Design AI-assisted workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Identify technical risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies.




- Support Agile engineering teams in delivering high-quality software at scale.

Required Skills / Primary Skills

- 6-8+ years of software development experience, with strong expertise in Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21+.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework, and Spring Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Hibernate/JPA and Jakarta EE.
- Experience with Maven and/or Gradle.
- Strong experience designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building REST APIs and working with OpenAPI / Swagger.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Solid understanding of application security, secure coding practices, and OWASP principles.
- Experience with modern observability and monitoring practices.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven experience mentoring developers and technical leads.

- Robust understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, Zero Trust Security, and secure application development.
- Experience integrating Generative AI and LLM APIs into enterprise applications.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI or OpenAI APIs.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
- Experience building or integrating AI agents and intelligent automation.
- Experience with LangChain and/or Spring AI is preferred.
- Experience leading cloud transformation or application modernization programs.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are an advantage.
- Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD are an advantage.
- TOGAF or other architecture certifications are preferred.
- AI/ML or Generative AI certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
