About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer Full Stack, you will take end-to-end ownership of internal tools and pipelines that keep partner data flowing accurately and on time for Data Operations, Partner, and Finance teams.

Your responsibilities will span front-end tooling, backend services, and the Hadoop-based data pipelines supporting them. You will work across Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Hadoop, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion pipelines and dashboards, including contract-level ingestion monitoring, to identify missed or delayed partner files.
- Own and maintain internal tools, across both front end and backend, that allow Data Operations teams to create, edit, and run contract and ingestion configurations.
- Support file-processing workarounds for partners with non-standard permissions or formats, including moving files between partner and internal storage and converting vendor-specific file drops into standard formats.
- Investigate and resolve data duplication or discrepancies identified through automated SQL, Oracle, or Hadoop-based checks.
- Build and support tools that generate ad codes, manage frequency-cap violations, merge partner files into client-ready reports, and translate IDs between internal systems.
- Maintain lightweight alternatives to primary ingestion systems for smaller-scale partner data, including pixel-based file uploads.




- Run and maintain GDPR-related monitoring and segment-check reports to support data governance requirements.
- Maintain scheduled reporting jobs that summarize partner onboarding, spend, and file-ingestion status for internal teams and partners.
- Maintain email- and Slack-based alert systems, backed by monitoring tools such as Datadog, that identify partner file-formatting issues and ingestion failures before they become client-facing incidents.
- Use internal troubleshooting tooling, including SQL review, query runners, and market/inventory configuration editors, to diagnose issues quickly.
- Support incident communication tooling that synchronizes status-page updates with internal Slack channels and participate in on-call and incident-response activities as needed.
- Gather requirements directly from Product managers and client-facing teams and write explicit technical specifications before development, rather than working only from predefined tickets.
- Use agentic AI tools, such as Claude Code, to accelerate coding, code review, and documentation while applying sound engineering judgment to production deliverables.
- Keep technical specifications and documentation current as systems and requirements evolve so that the wider team can rely on them.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of internal scripts and services, understanding what each component does, why it exists, and when it is appropriate to modify, deprecate, or hand it over.
- Mentor other engineers and partner with adjacent teams, including Data Operations, Finance, and Partner Engineering, to prioritize and scope shared tooling initiatives.
