As a Senior Software Engineer, youll drive innovation and excellence by delivering high-quality work, collaborating with your manager to advance team goals, and prioritizing effectively. Youll participate in core processes, recommend improvements, and invigorate the team by questioning the status quo. Youll respond urgently to operational issues, contribute to the software development lifecycle, and improve team processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager, Architect, Product Manager and team.

- Acts with urgency and delivers high-quality work that adds value to the business, stakeholders, and customers.

- Works with the manager to focus on advancing team goals.

- Prioritizes effectively and proposes scope adjustments when necessary.

- Participates in core team processes and recommends improvements.

- Questions the status quo to invigorate the team.

- Responds urgently to operational issues and owns resolution within scope.

- Is resilient, detail-oriented, and takes initiative, especially in crises.

- Contributes significantly to the full software development lifecycle.

- Improves team processes, code, and work items.

Technology Stack

We re looking for candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas:

- Full-stack- C# + SQL + (Web Forms or AngularJS) + EagleID + AWS basics

- Backend/API -Web API 2 .NET Core + EF6/ADO.NET + stored procs + SQS/Lambda + SOAP/REST

- Frontend -AngularJS 1.x + jQuery + MVC Razor; Positive to have: Web Forms/Telerik

- DevOps- GitHub Actions + Terraform + EC2/IIS + StackHawk/Veracode

- QA/SDET- Playwright + SQL validation + DAST + 5-env regression

- Architect- All above at design level + modernization + cross-system integration

- AI Engineering -Claude Code + Cursor + Prompt Engineering + Agentic SDLC (spec.md/plan.md) + AI-assisted testing, debugging & code reviews
