Description

Deloitte is seeking an experienced SAP MM Professional to support a large-scale S/4HANA transformation program. The role spans requirement gathering, functional design, data migration, and testing across the MM workstream, with close collaboration with Finance, Sales and Distribution, ABAP, Integration, and Data Migration teams. Candidate must have delivered at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations and be comfortable operating in a global delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Design

- Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define MM / STP / PTP process scope.
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) within the MM domain.

Data Migration

- Own Material Master data design and mapping including Source-to-Target Mapping sheets for data conversion objects.
- Support transactional data migration (e.g., open POs, stock balances, in-transit inventory) in addition to master data objects.
- Coordinate with the Data Migration team on load strategy, cleansing rules, and object sequencing.

Testing

- Develop Functional Unit Test plans for MM RICEFW objects and configuration.
- Lead/participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Execute test loads (mock/cutover simulation)



to validate data conversion accuracy prior to go-live.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with ABAP developers to translate functional specs into technical builds and validate outputs.
- Coordinate with Integration teams on inbound/outbound interfaces impacting MM processes (e.g., procurement, inventory).
- Partner with Finance teams to align on GL account postings and account determination for MM-driven transactions (e.g., goods receipt/invoice receipt postings).
- Partner with Sales and Distribution teams on sales order and inventory availability discussions (e.g., ATP checks, stock visibility for order fulfillment).
- Support cutover planning and go-live readiness activities for the MM workstream.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8 to 10 years of hands-on SAP MM experience.
- Proven experience with Material Master data design, structure, and governance.
- Solid RICEFW functional specification writing and data conversion/mapping experience (master and transactional data).
- Experience conducting SIT, UAT, and test load cycles.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations (not support-only engagements).
- Demonstrated experience working within a global delivery model, coordinating with offshore/onshore ABAP, Integration, and Data Migration teams.
- Cross-functional exposure working with Finance (GL/account determination) and Sales and Distribution (sales order/inventory availability) teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
