Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive to lead retail sales operations for our CIY (Craft It Yourself) store in Pune. You will be responsible for driving store revenue, managing daily retail operations, assisting customers with DIY/craft products, and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue: Achieve and exceed monthly retail sales targets through active selling, upselling, and product cross-promotions.
- Customer Engagement: Guide customers through DIY/craft product selections, provide exceptional service, and build strong customer loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise junior sales staff on product knowledge, customer service standards, and effective sales techniques.
- Store Operations: Maintain visual merchandising standards, monitor inventory levels, and manage daily store opening/closing procedures.
- Market Insights: Track local retail trends in Pune, gather customer feedback,
and suggest promotional ideas to increase footfall.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2 years of retail sales experience, or least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role (experience in craft, hobby, lifestyle, or DIY retail preferred).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (proficiency in Marathi is a plus).
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a frontline retail team.
- Product Knowledge: Passion or interest in arts, crafts, and DIY activities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
