Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving technical sales and business growth for Avcon’s range of valves and control products. This position involves identifying and engaging prospective customers, managing existing key accounts, and presenting technical solutions that align with client applications and industry standards.

The Senior Sales

Engineer will prepare and deliver product demonstrations, technical proposals, and quotations, while coordinating closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solutions and timely delivery.



Day-to-day tasks include providing pre- and post-sales technical support, resolving customer queries, and visiting client sites to understand requirements and build long-term relationships. The role also includes tracking market trends, competitor activities, and contributing to sales strategies and forecasts to achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and recommend suitable valve and control solutions.
- Proven experience in Sales and Customer Service, including relationship management, negotiation, and handling key accounts.
- Ability to provide Technical Support, including troubleshooting, product configuration, and application guidance for industrial clients.
- Excellent Communication skills for presenting technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Prior experience in industrial valves, flow control, automation, or process industries is highly beneficial.
- Comfortable with frequent customer visits in and around Mumbai and willingness to travel as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools for managing leads, opportunities, and sales reports.
