Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in mobile and frontend application testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing native Android/iOS applications and cross-platform applications, with a strong understanding of modern mobile development technologies.

Experience with Flutter/Dart will be a strong advantage, as Flutter is a key part of our strategic technology direction.

The role will also involve testing backend services, APIs and distributed systems, requiring a good understanding of modern backend architectures and databases.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases for mobile and frontend applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory and usability testing.
- Test mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms and different devices/OS versions.
- Work closely with developers, product managers and engineering teams to identify, reproduce and resolve defects.
- Validate mobile UI/UX, application workflows, API integrations and backend interactions.
- Perform API testing for RESTful services using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Validate API contracts and documentation based on Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Test applications built using Flutter/Dart, Android and iOS technologies.
- Participate in automation initiatives and contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.
- Analyse logs, troubleshoot defects and perform root-cause analysis.
- Validate applications in containerised and microservice-based environments.
- Ensure quality throughout the SDLC and participate in Agile ceremonies.

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing.
- Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications.
- Good understanding of mobile application architecture and frontend technologies.
- Strong experience in API testing and integration testing.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with development and product teams.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred / Good to Have
- Hands-on experience testing Flutter/Dart applications.
- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks such as Appium, Maestro, Detox, Espresso or XCUITest.
- Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
- Exposure to Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
