Responsibilities

Application & Backend Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications, services, and backend components using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

API & Microservices Engineering : Build RESTful and asynchronous APIs, design microservices architectures, and integrate with internal/external systems and databases.

Data Handling & Processing : Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, message queues, and data pipelines; implement ETL workflows and ensure high data quality.

Performance & Optimization : Optimize application performance, memory usage, and execution speed; profile code and resolve bottlenecks.

Cloud & DevOps Integration : Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), integrating CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Testing & Debugging : Write robust unit/integration tests (pytest/unittest), debug complex issues, and support QA/UAT and production deployments.

Collaboration : Partner with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Security & Compliance : Implement secure coding practices, handle authentication/authorization, and ensure application compliance with standards.

Lifecycle Management : Manage versioning, releases,



observability, and maintain applications throughout their lifecycle.

Documentation : Produce clear technical documentation, API references, and user guides for developers and stakeholders.

Skills

Core : Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, Async programming (asyncio), REST APIs.

Technical : Microservices, SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), Message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab), Linux, API security.

Methodologies : Agile/Scrum, Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD best practices, Code review & clean coding principles.

Mandatory skills The candidate should have solid experience in the following skill set:

- Python
- AWS S3
- AWS Glue
- AWS Athena
- PySpark
- Database (RDS / NoSQL)
- MongoDB (Good to have)
