We are looking for a Senior Power BI Consultant who can work across business requirements, data, and technology to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade BI and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, KPIs, reporting needs, and analytical use cases .

- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and semantic models .

- Build advanced DAX measures, KPIs, Power Query/M transformations, and optimized data models .

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and reporting datasets.
- Apply Star/Snowflake schema and dimensional modelling principles.
- Perform Power BI performance tuning across DAX, data models, queries, refreshes, and reports .

- Work with Power BI Service including workspaces, datasets/semantic models, gateways, refresh schedules, deployment pipelines, and security .

- Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and enterprise BI best practices.

- Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Services, Excel, SharePoint, APIs , and other data sources.

- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts on data pipelines, data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root-cause analysis across data, reports, refreshes, and integrations.

- Present solutions and insights to business stakeholders and clients in a clear, business-oriented manner.
- Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to BI standards, documentation, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

- 8+ years of experience in Power BI / Business Intelligence,



with strong hands-on development experience.
- Advanced expertise in

Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modelling .

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, ETL, and semantic models .

- Experience with Power BI performance optimization and troubleshooting .

- Hands-on experience with Power BI administration, security, gateways, refreshes, and deployments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently own BI projects from requirement gathering through implementation and delivery .

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure Synapse, ADF, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or Microsoft Fabric .

- Knowledge of SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS .

- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and BI governance .

- Exposure to AI-powered analytics, Copilot, or Natural Language Analytics .

- Experience in MarTech, customer analytics, digital analytics, campaign analytics, segmentation, or CRM is a solid advantage.
- Experience working in Agile, AMS, or enterprise support environments .
