Key Responsibilities

- Managing end-to-end formalities for Indian and foreign patent filings
- Maintaining and monitoring statutory and internal deadlines of attorneys




- Preparing and e-filing forms before the Indian Patent Office
- Handling annuity and renewal schedules and client reminders
- Coordinating with foreign associates, clients and inventors for documents, POAs, assignments, verified translations and priority documents
- Reviewing Patent Office correspondence and reporting to attorneys and clients
- Preparing status reports and supporting portfolio management
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior paralegal and formalities staff

Eligibility

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on patent formalities and docketing experience in a patent law firm in Delhi NCR
- Thorough working knowledge of the Patents Act, 1970, the Patents Rules and the IPO's e-filing portal
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail and deadline discipline
