General Role Purpose:

nThe key elements of the role of the OTM Consultant to provide E2E solution and Support.

nThe role covers all aspects of transport functionality of OTM: Order Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Supply Chain Visibility and Event Management, Inventory Visibility and Freight Bill Audit & Payments whether delivered with the core transport solution or ancillary solutions.

nThe role would be responsible for developing Integration mapping Specification. Need to have good knowledge in various message formats like ANSI, EDIFACT, Rosetta net, XML etc..

nCompleting and managing customer work packages in accordance with established budgets, work plans, quality standards, and timeframes

nStructuring and solving customer requirements using Templates & Frameworks as well as generic product functionality

nWork on transport project solution work packages or change requests with DevOps in-house or external team.

nMain Accountabilities:

nThe key purpose of this role is to gather requirement, solution design services and development of the transport solution for a broad range of projects and Support.

nSupport the business project teams to determine IT solution requirements, CRP demonstrations, customer meetings, solution design.

nManage the implementation of IT project work packages in line with the DHL DevOps way of Working.

nManage required IT development activity in line with the customer requirements. Ensure any development IT in accordance with supplier governance policies.

nProvide IT support as required for live customers (CRs, recent releases etc.)

nProjects timeline, implementation, post warranty support and Go-live Support.





nBuild effective relationships and maintain close liaison with business and IT by maintaining regular contact through the full project lifecycle.

nUndertake other projects and roles as required from time to time by senior management.

nRun business requirement and GAP analysis workshops for template-based implementations.

nBuild working relationships with Project team, customers, business, and suppliers.

nDevelopment of test scenarios and scripts.

nWork with testing team to automate the Testing.

nManage and/or perform IT testing and support user acceptance testing.

nDocument user training to internal and customer teams

nFunctional & Technical Experience:

nGood understanding of transportation customer requirements and good technical understanding of solution capabilities e.g. OTM, Kewill, Blue Yonder.

nGood Knowledge on Agile and DevOps

nJira project management experience. Scrum/Kanban board in Jira.

nGeneral understanding of transport related ancillary systems and B2B integrated e.g. HERE, Transporeon, Centiro

nParticipates and organizes workshops & events.

nPreparation of solution design proposals from a commercial as well as a technical perspective.

nAdvising / consulting to external customers.

nCoordinate, direct and oversee work package delivered by Specialists and/or suppliers.

nDeveloping content for customer presentations and providing technical/functional content

nOTM Experience:

nYears of Experience: 10-15+ Years | 8-10 Full Life Cycle Implementation (At least Three Implementation in Agile/DevOps)

noExperience in OTM Cloud implementation with minimum four full Cycle Implementation and Two E2E Migration from On Prem to Cloud.

noExperience implementing Transport solutions in at least two different regions.

noExperience in fit Gap analysis.

noExperience in standardization of solution.

noPrem to Oracle Cloud.
