Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Network Engineer at Clear InfoSec.

The Senior Network

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures to support client environments and internal operations.

Responsibilities include configuring and managing network devices, monitoring performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high availability and resilience. The role also involves collaborating with security teams on network security controls, participating in architecture reviews, documenting configurations and procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of network standards and best practices.





The Senior Network

Engineer will engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support secure digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Network Engineering and Network Design skills to architect, implement, and optimize complex, secure network topologies.
- Candidates should possess solid Network Administration and Troubleshooting skills to manage day-to-day operations, diagnose issues, and ensure reliable network performance.
- Candidates should possess deep Network Security skills to implement firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, segmentation, and other security controls aligned with best practices.
- Experience with routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs), SD-WAN, and enterprise-grade network hardware and software.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid environments, and secure connectivity patterns.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent experience are highly beneficial.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity-focused environments or consulting engagements is a plus, along with a commitment to continuous learning in network and security technologies.
