Role Description The Senior MEP Design Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. The position involves leading the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include developing detailed designs and drawings, performing calculations, reviewing CAD models, and guiding junior engineers and designers.

The role also involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and support project delivery from concept through construction. The Senior MEP Design Engineer will participate in design reviews, prepare technical documentation,



and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for building systems and components.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering expertise related to HVAC, piping, and general building services.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills for power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing detailed drawings and models.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Several years of experience in MEP design for building projects, ideally in a senior or lead role.
- Knowledge of local and international building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
