Role & responsibilities .

- Develop and implement end-to-end SCM strategies aligned with business and production requirements.
- Lead S&OP; / demand and supply planning activities.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, bought-out components, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, PPC and Production for customer demand and forecast planning.
- Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans.
- Manage MRP, material planning and replenishment based on production schedules and customer requirements.
- Maintain optimum levels of raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory.
- Control excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
- Drive FIFO, Kanban, JIT and Lean inventory practices.
- Coordinate closely with Purchase and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and material shortages.
- Develop strategies for critical and long-lead-time materials.
- Support supplier development and alternate-source identification.
- Monitor supplier-related risks affecting production and customer deliveries.
- Oversee RM, WIP, FG and packaging warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper material identification, storage, preservation, and traceability.
- Establish effective warehouse layout and material flow.
- Ensure FIFO and inventory control systems are followed.




- Drive warehouse productivity, 5S and space optimization.
- Lead domestic logistics, transportation, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) to OEM / Tier-1 customers.
- Optimize transportation routes, vehicle utilization, and logistics costs.
- Monitor customer schedules, call-offs and urgent delivery requirements.
- Support customer audits and SCM assessments.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce: Inventory carrying cost, Transportation cost, Warehousing cost, Packaging cost, and Material handling cost.
- Drive Lean SCM and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop and monitor SCM cost-saving initiatives.

- Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent understanding of automotive manufacturing supply chains.
- Solid experience in MRP, Material Planning, PPC, Inventory and Logistics.
- Knowledge of S&OP;, JIT, JIS, Kanban, FIFO and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and material-flow management.
- Experience in OEM customer scheduling and delivery systems.
- Good understanding of automotive packaging and returnable packaging.
- Strong knowledge of SAP / ERP / MRP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel and SCM MIS skills.
- Knowledge of supply-chain KPIs and cost-control techniques..
