Position/Title - Senior Manager - Engineering (Dot Net)

The Senior Manager - Engineering will be a key member of the technology and business leadership team, responsible for leading and transforming the Engineering teams as a strategic business capability that enables the company's growth, customer and product ambitions.

The role will lead global engineering teams focused on developing and delivering enterprise software using the .NET technology stack. The leader will combine strong people leadership, business and product understanding, technical depth and execution excellence to translate product and business priorities into engineering plans, capacity decisions, technology investments and measurable outcomes.

The role will have end-to-end responsibility for Engineering, including engineering execution, architecture and technical direction, software quality, productivity, modernization and engineering practices. The role will work closely with Product, QA, Customer Success, Professional Services and other leaders to ensure predictable delivery and strong customer and business outcomes.

Education

B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science from Premier Institutions only.

Experience

Must Haves

- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years in Engineering leadership roles, with demonstrated experience managing multiple engineering teams, preferably in a software product-based organization
- Strong experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, particularly C#, .NET/.NET Core, VB.NET, VB6, C++, etc and enterprise application development.
- Demonstrated track record of transforming or significantly improving engineering organizations, including organization structure, processes, engineering practices, productivity and delivery effectiveness.
- Solid understanding of business and product strategy, with the ability to translate business objectives into engineering strategy and investment priorities.
- Proven experience partnering closely with Product and business leadership to deliver customer and business outcomes, not simply technology deliverables.
- Experience leading large-scale, highly available and complex software products or platforms.
- Strong architecture and system-design depth, with the ability to guide and challenge complex technical decisions.
- Strong understanding of modern enterprise architecture, distributed systems, data-intensive applications,



cloud platforms and modern SDLC practices.
- Demonstrated track record of hiring, developing and retaining Engineering team members and building high-performing team.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make difficult trade-offs between customer commitments, product roadmap, technology investment, technical debt, cost and risk.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Product, Business and Technology.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing and transformation-oriented environments.
- Able to engage deeply with architects and senior engineers and challenge technology choices based on business requirements, scalability, risk, cost, and long-term product strategy.
- Technology/framework expertise is important, but the expectation is breadth and technical judgment rather than hands-on coding in a specific stack.
