About the fund

Farro Capital is launching a USD 50 million blended finance fund, Asia Blended Fund (ABF) investing across India and Southeast Asia in climate-smart agriculture, financial inclusion, and health. The fund combines catalytic and commercial capital tranches, allowing us to take on risk that conventional capital cannot while holding ourselves to commercial return standards.

About the role

This is a deal-facing, field-heavy role. That means real strategic ownership of what we back and how we back it, and the trust to operate independently while doing so, bolstered by a robust Singapore based team with deep investor relationships and a well-knit team culture. Roughly 70% of your time will go to deal diligence, with the balance split between partner Fund relationships and investor-related work. What you'll do

Diligence — impact and business (70%)

- Support Identification and origination of deals, working through our identified fund partners
- Lead field research across pipeline and portfolio investments: site visits, stakeholder meetings, and direct engagement with beneficiaries
- Develop and apply impact frameworks suited to climate, agri-tech, and regenerative agriculture contexts
- Own impact diligence end to end,



from scoping the questions that matter for each deal through fieldwork and evidence gathering
- Run business diligence, drawing on real sector knowledge rather than generic frameworks
- Contribute to financial diligence alongside the investment team (supporting, not owning)
- Support in end-to end investment process from origination to screening to dilligence to risk assessments to structuring to execution to deal closure
- Commission and manage third-party assessors for independent impact verification
- Translate field findings into structured diligence reports the investment team can act on
- Organise field visits for investors and strategic stakeholders for key investment projects

Partner and ecosystem engagement (15%)

- Foster collaborations with partner impact funds, implementing organizations, and ecosystem actors across India
- Track partner fund deal flow and flag active transactions we could participate in
- Stay current on blended finance in the region: new funds, regulatory shifts, ecosystem players and market gaps

Investor engagement and portfolio reporting (15%)

- Support fundraising and business development from Investors based across the globe
- Build pitch decks covering sector analysis and deal flows
- Support fund structuring documentation and pitch materials as needed
- Contribute to portfolio tracking, impact KPI design, periodic management and investor reports




- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to execute on fund strategy

What we're looking for

- 7-10 years in impact investing, blended finance, or impact fund management, or in an operating role at a portfolio company, with depth across at least two of our three themes- Climate-smart agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Health
- Hands-on due diligence experience is essential. We are looking for investing or operating backgrounds rather than advisory or consulting ones
- Strong finance acumen; Master's degree in Engineering, Finance , Business from a reputed institution or CA preferred
- Genuinely field-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel to rural and semi-urban geographies
- Mature, adaptable and comfortable engaging with senior professionals across different levels
- Self-driven, and agile with proactive mindset, able to operate independently as the ABF's representative on the ground in India
- Solid analytical capabilities, with a solid foundation in diligence, impact assessments and modelling
