We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sr Lead Engineer with a solid background in Python FullStack development, specializing in Next.js and modern web technologies. This role demands a leader capable of driving architectural decisions, mentoring teams, and delivering robust, scalable solutions for complex applications.

1. Lead the architectural design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks.
2. Drive the implementation of robust backend services and APIs, leveraging Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
3. Oversee the development of server-side rendered (SSR) and statically generated (SSG) applications using Next.js, including routing, data fetching, and API routes.
4. Guide the creation of advanced React components, focusing on functional components, hooks, context API, and performance optimization techniques.
5. Establish and enforce best practices for clean, maintainable, and responsive CSS, potentially utilizing frameworks like styled-components or Tailwind CSS.
6. Implement comprehensive unit and integration testing strategies using Jest for frontend components and appropriate frameworks for backend services.
7. Manage database interactions, including schema design, complex SQL queries, and basic DBA activities for both relational and NoSQL databases.
8. Champion the use of version control systems (Git) and contribute to CI/CD pipeline development,



particularly for UI application deployment in Linux environments using Jenkins.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, solve complex problems, and ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.
10. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills:

Extensive experience with Python and Django framework.

Proficiency in Next.js for building high-performance web applications.

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with React, including functional components, hooks, and performance optimization.

Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP web services.

Strong command of modern CSS, including responsive design principles and experience with CSS frameworks.

Proficiency in writing unit tests using Jest for React components.

Experience with Axios for API communication.

Advanced knowledge of Git for version control.

Significant experience with relational databases and SQL queries, including basic DBA activities.

Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment and proficient in shell scripting.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Flask framework.

Familiarity with GraphQL.

Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Experience with Message Broker Services such as Kafka or Redis.

Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
