About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Instructional Designer with strong hands-on expertise in instructional design, learning content development, and digital learning. The ideal candidate should be able to independently take SME inputs or business requirements, analyse and structure the content, determine the right learning approach, and develop clear, engaging, and instructionally sound learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Content Development

- Analyse SME/business content and identify the key information, learning needs, and performance requirements.
- Structure, simplify, and chunk complex content into a logical and learner-friendly learning flow.
- Develop learning objectives, instructional strategies, scripts, storyboards, activities, knowledge checks, and assessments.
- Design scenario-based and application-oriented learning wherever appropriate.
- Ensure learning objectives, content, activities, and assessments are properly aligned.
- Create concise and meaningful on-screen text while maintaining the accuracy and intent of the source content.
- Recommend the most appropriate learning format based on the requirement, such as eLearning, video-based learning, job aids, quick reference guides, or other digital learning solutions.

SME & Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with SMEs and business stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify complex or conflicting information.
- Lead content discussions, ask the right questions, and independently identify gaps or ambiguities.
- Consolidate feedback and incorporate revisions while maintaining instructional and content quality.
- Communicate recommendations, concerns, dependencies, and project updates clearly.

Quality & Instructional Review

- Review learning content for instructional effectiveness, accuracy, grammar, consistency, accessibility, and overall learner experience.




- Ensure content follows approved guidelines, templates, branding, and project standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews and QA before delivery, identifying both content and functional issues.
- Take ownership of the quality of the final learning deliverable.

Ownership

- Manage assigned projects independently from requirement understanding through final delivery.
- Plan and track deliverables, timelines, reviews, dependencies, and revisions.
- Coordinate effectively with SMEs, visual designers, developers, and other project team members.
- Proactively identify risks or delays and communicate them at the right time.
- Handle multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Mentor and train junior and mid-level Instructional Designers, providing guidance on instructional design practices, content development, quality standards, and project execution.

Tools & Technology

- Working knowledge of Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- Familiarity with tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Camtasia, Vyond, Snagit, Synthesia, or similar learning/content development tools.
- Comfortable exploring and using AI tools to support content development, research, ideation, and quality improvement, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Instructional Design, Digital Learning.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Solid ability to analyse, simplify, structure, and present complex information.
- Hands-on experience working with SMEs and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of learning objectives, assessments, scenarios, knowledge checks, and content sequencing.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities.
