About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer with 6+ years of software development experience to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Go/Golang, backend development, microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies .

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.
- Design and implement highly scalable and reliable backend services.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
- Implement concurrency and parallel processing using Go routines, channels, and related Go features.
- Integrate applications with third-party services and internal APIs.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Follow best practices related to security, scalability, observability, and software engineering.

Required Skills





- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang/Go.
- Strong understanding of Go programming concepts, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented/programming concepts.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Good understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with gRPC.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related field is preferred.
