What you'll do
- Build and own customer-facing products using React and Node.js.
- Design APIs, data models, and backend systems that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
- Translate ambiguous product requirements into simple, thoughtful technical solutions.

- Make pragmatic architecture and engineering decisions without over-engineering.
- Review code and help establish strong engineering practices across the team.
- Debug production issues and improve the reliability and observability of our systems.
- Use AI coding tools effectively while maintaining a high bar for code quality and understanding what you ship.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with strong fullstack experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, API design, authentication,
and modern web architecture.
- Experience designing and building production systems, not just implementing well-defined tickets.
- Strong product sense you think about the experience from the customer's perspective, not just whether the code works.
- Ability to reason about edge cases, failure modes, concurrency, and real-world operational constraints.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership from problem definition through production.
- Positive written communication and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
Bonus points
