Senior Enterprise Sales ManagerEnterprise AI & Decision Platform, India
Bengaluru / Mumbai / Hyderabad | Experience: 6–10+ years
About the RoleWe are hiring a Senior Enterprise Sales professional to build and own new business for an AI-native enterprise decision and context platform in India. This is a 0-1 sales charter: you will be selling a new, still-being-understood category (AI-first decision intelligence, context engineering, AI-agent-ready enterprise data infrastructure) into large Indian enterprises and GCCs struggling to move GenAI pilots into production.
You will own the full sales cycle, from account targeting and executive outreach through technical evaluation, proof-of-concept, procurement and close, for complex multi-stakeholder enterprise deals. This role is built for someone who has sold technical, platform-level software into Fortune 500 or large Indian enterprise accounts before, and who wants the ownership and ambiguity of an early-stage GTM motion rather than a mature, process-heavy sales org.
What You Will Do
- Own a book of enterprise and strategic named accounts across Healthcare, FMCG, Retail, Fintech, BFSI, IT Services/GCCs, Manufacturing and large conglomerates; build and execute account plans from scratch.
- Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (CEO/CFO/CDO/CTO, Head of Data/AI Platform, business function heads) using a structured sales methodology such as MEDDICC, Command of the Message, Challenger or Sandler.
- Diagnose customer pain around stalled AI/GenAI initiatives and translate it into a compelling business case and ROI narrative for platform-level investment.
- Lead and coordinate technical proof-of-concepts and pilots, such as a scoped Decision and Impact Workshop or sprint, in partnership with Sales Engineering and Solutions.
- Navigate long, multi-quarter enterprise procurement cycles covering security reviews, legal, vendor onboarding and multi-year contracts, with patience and rigour.
- Build and manage a co-sell pipeline with System Integrators and GCC AI practices (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, EY/Deloitte).
- Accurately forecast pipeline and bookings; maintain disciplined CRM hygiene in Salesforce or equivalent.
- Act as a founding member of the India GTM team. Shape playbooks, pricing conversations, positioning and hiring as the team scales, rather than simply executing an existing process.
- Represent Wyra at customer roundtables, industry events and analyst conversations.
- What We Are Looking For
- 6–10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a consistent track record of closing large, complex deals (₹75L+ / $100K+ ACV) with Fortune 500 or large Indian enterprise accounts.
- Prior experience selling technical, platform-level products such as data platforms, cloud infrastructure, analytics, AI/ML, data governance and catalog, or similarly complex B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated command of a formal sales methodology and the discipline to apply it consistently.
- Comfortable navigating intricate, multi-stakeholder procurement processes and tailoring the approach per account rather than running a single playbook.
- Strong technical fluency. Able to hold a credible conversation on data architecture, AI agents and LLMs, APIs and enterprise IT landscapes with both technical and business audiences. Working knowledge of SQL and APIs is a plus, not mandatory.
- A genuine self-starter: has built pipeline from zero, thrives without a fully scaffolded process,
and is energised rather than intimidated by ambiguity and a quick-changing product and category.
- Startup-ready mindset: willing to go beyond just sales, contributing to positioning, marketing narratives, partner strategy and early hiring as the India team scales.
- Excellent executive presence. Able to run a boardroom conversation with a CXO and a technical deep-dive with a data engineering lead in the same week.
- Existing relationships with CXOs, CDOs, CTOs or System Integrator AI practices in India are a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus, but not a substitute for demonstrated sales results.
- What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: build and validate a target account list; run discovery with 15–20 priority accounts; open 5–8 qualified pipeline opportunities.
- First 3 months: close the first set of India logos through pilot and sprint-to-platform conversions; establish 1–2 active SI/GCC co-sell relationships.
- First 9 months: consistently deliver against quota; contribute a repeatable regional playbook that can support future India sales hires.
Why Join Us
- Own a green-field, high-visibility charter. You are not inheriting a territory, you are building one.
- Sell into one of the most important emerging categories in enterprise software: the infrastructure layer that makes enterprise AI trustworthy.
- Direct access to founders and leadership; your input shapes GTM strategy, not just your quota.
- Competitive base plus uncapped variable compensation, meaningful equity and ESOPs, and a fast path to building and leading a team as the India charter scales.
How to Apply
- Sent your resume to
[email protected], along with a brief summary of your enterprise sales records, including deal sizes closed, sales cycle length, and the buying personas you typically sold to. Ranges are fine if the specific figures are confidential.
