Role & responsibilities:

- Lead and manage engineering operations on the shop floor across Perfume, Aerosol, Personal Care, and Color Cosmetics sections.
- Ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of high-speed filling and packaging lines (Perfume, Aerosol, Cream, Sachet, Tube filling & Manufacturing sections).
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and instrumentation issues.
- Manage equipment breakdowns, repairs, and associated systems in a safe and efficient manner.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance in close coordination with the Production team.
- Conduct breakdown analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Lead and allocate tasks to the team of electricians and mechanical engineers, ensuring effective utilization of manpower. • Ensure plant maintenance systems, periodic inspections, and inventory controls are implemented and followed.
- Maintain and improve knowledge of pneumatic circuits, drives, stepper/servo motors, sensors, temperature controllers, timers, solenoids, and other automation systems.
- Drive modifications, development,



and improvement projects for existing equipment and facilities through in-house engineering. • Oversee execution of machine trials, testing, and training of production teams for new equipment.
- Manage in-house design, modification, and development of equipment to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 audit requirements and maintain proper engineering documentation.
- Promote a culture of safe working practices on the shop floor, aligned with TPM tools and methodologies.
- Manage engineering-related projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Must come from the Personal care/Homecare/Cosmetics/ perfumes and aerosol Industry.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge of liquid filling, Powder filling, Wax filling, perfume filling, gel filling perfume filling crimping auto pack cartnator powder filling multi pack machine etc.
