Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager O&M; (Solar)

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager O&M; to join our Head Office team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple solar sites, ensuring optimal plant performance, and guiding field teams with strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Performance & Monitoring

- Review daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance and generation data.
- Analyze CUF trends, inverter-level generation, breakdown reports, and SCADA data.
- Identify gaps in performance and take timely corrective actions to enhance generation.
- Ensure daily generation targets are met through continuous monitoring and team coordination.

Multisite Coordination

- Manage and support multiple solar O&M; sites simultaneously from HO.
- Conduct site visits as required to resolve critical issues and assess on-ground conditions.
- Track all daily assigned activities and ensure timely completion by site teams.

Technical Guidance & Troubleshooting

- Provide expert technical support for AC and DC system troubleshooting.
- Assist teams in resolving inverter faults, string failures, grid issues, BOP faults, and SCADA alarms.
- Review fault logs, incident reports, and ensure corrective and preventive maintenance is effectively implemented.

Meetings & Team Coordination

- Conduct daily review calls with site teams to monitor progress and plan actions.




- Lead weekly review meetings to discuss plant performance, action items, and improvement measures.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as SCM, Accounts, and Projects for material and operational support.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for management review.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, material usage, and breakdown analysis.
- Support internal audits, compliance requirements, and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Solid multitasking ability and capability to support multiple sites effectively.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- In-depth knowledge of solar plant operations, AC/DC systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to analyze technical data and implement practical solutions to improve generation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and report preparation.

Language Requirement Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.

Working knowledge of English and Hindi is preferred.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, EEE, or related discipline.

37 years of experience in Solar O&M; operations.

Experience in handling multiple sites will be an added advantage
