Key responsibilities

- Define electrical architecture, power tree, interfaces, component selection and design margins.

- Create schematics and supervise PCB layout, stack-up, impedance, grounding, shielding and design reviews.

- Integrate e-paper controllers, EMR or digitiser, navigation controls, storage, radios and secure elements.

- Design battery protection, gauging, charging, conversion and fault handling with the battery specialist and pack supplier.

- Develop measured energy budgets across reading, writing, inference, radio, sleep and update workloads.

- Own board bring-up, instrumentation, debugging and electrical failure analysis.

- Design for EMC, ESD, safety, RF, environmental and manufacturing-test requirements.

- Create DFT provisions, factory diagnostics, test points and production-programming requirements.

- Work with mechanical and firmware engineers on thermals, antenna placement, suspend or resume and service replacement.

- Maintain component lifecycle, alternates, supply risks and BOM cost.





Required qualifications:

- B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE or a closely related discipline.

- Eight or more years of embedded hardware design and board bring-up.

- Solid mixed-signal, digital, power-supply and battery-powered-device fundamentals.

- Production schematic and multilayer PCB experience.

- At least one design carried through certification and production.

Strongly preferred

- E-paper, display timing or controller, stylus or digitiser, or touch-input experience.

- ARM-class SoM or SoC products and Linux board integration.

- Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module and antenna integration.

- USB-C charging, LFP or NMC pack design, secure elements and low-power measurement.

- Pre-compliance work for EMC, ESD, BIS and WPC or ETA.
