: Senior Devops Engineer

Position Summary: The DevOps Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, automation, security, and continuous improvement of the organization's cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment processes. This role partners closely with Development, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Product teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure delivery of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps Strategy

- Define and drive the DevOps roadmap and cloud infrastructure strategy.
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, cloud engineers, and automation specialists.
- Establish DevOps best practices, standards, and governance.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to support digital transformation initiatives.

Cloud Infrastructure Management

- Design and manage highly available cloud environments.
- Lead infrastructure implementation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Optimize cloud performance, scalability, reliability, and costs.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.

CI/CD & Release Management

- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.
- Improve deployment frequency while minimizing downtime and risk.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

- Implement and maintain Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC frameworks.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.




- Eliminate manual operational tasks through scripting and automation.

Containerization & Kubernetes

- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support Amazon ECS/EKS or equivalent container orchestration platforms.
- Implement container security and compliance standards.

Monitoring & Reliability

- Establish application and infrastructure monitoring strategies.
- Implement logging, alerting, and observability frameworks.
- Define and manage SLAs, SLOs, and operational KPIs.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis activities.

Security & Compliance

- Partner with Security teams to implement DevSecOps practices.
- Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and industry standards.
- Address vulnerabilities and infrastructure risks proactively.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with software engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture on platform standards.
- Support production readiness reviews and architecture governance.
- Communicate technical solutions to business and executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.

Experience

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- 3+ years leading DevOps or Platform Engineering teams.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
