Role & responsibilities The Estimation Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, architects, and contractors, to deliver accurate bids that reflect the true costs of Electrical, in plumbing and firefighting systems.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for Electrical, plumbing and firefighting systems.
2. Collaborate with project managers and design teams to identify project requirements and quantify necessary resources.
3. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns and justifications for pricing.

Monitor ongoing project costs and provide updates to management regarding budget adherence and potential overruns.
5. Research and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials.
6. Assist in contract negotiations with clients and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
7. Review historical data to improve the accuracy of future estimates and bidding processes.
8. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.
9. Stay informed about industry trends, recent materials, and technologies to enhance estimation practices.
10. Participate in project meetings to discuss cost-related issues and propose cost-saving strategies.
