Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our state-of-the-art oncology team. In this role, you will diagnose and treat various forms of cancer using high-energy ionizing radiation, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive clinical consultations, review diagnostic imaging, and determine appropriate radiation therapy treatment plans.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with medical physicists and dosimetrists to design and approve accurate radiation prescriptions (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, 3D-CRT).
- Patient Monitoring: Oversee ongoing treatments, manage side effects, and conduct regular follow-up evaluations to track treatment efficacy.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:



Participate in tumor boards and coordinate care alongside medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and support staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: MD/DNB Radiation Oncology/Radiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Residency: Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Radiation Oncology.
- Licensing & Certification: Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology, along with a valid state medical license.
