Role Description The Senior Chemist role at CavinKare is a full-time, on-site position based in Haridwar.

The Senior

Chemist will lead formulation development and optimization for FMCG products, ensuring consistency, safety, and performance across batches.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing test results, and documenting findings in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves supporting quality control activities, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and collaborating closely with R&D;, production, and quality teams to scale up formulations from lab to plant.





The Senior

Chemist will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate raw materials, and stay updated on industry trends and new technologies relevant to product innovation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, with hands-on experience in formulation, testing, and handling laboratory equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Quality Control capabilities, including experience with standard QC procedures and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of analytical instruments and methods.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) expertise, with demonstrated experience in Research related to new product development and process improvement.
- Relevant qualifications such as a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, or related manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet timelines.
- Robust documentation, reporting, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
