MicroDegree is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Career Counsellor – Inside Sales to join our team in Jayanagar.
The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, career counselling, EdTech, or skill-development training, with strong communication and convincing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Understand the candidate's career goals, skills and learning requirements.
- Counsel students and recommend suitable skill-based courses/programs offered by MicroDegree.
- Explain course details, benefits, career opportunities, fees and payment options.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads and follow up regularly.
- Convert qualified leads into course enrollments.
- Maintain proper follow-up and lead status records.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales and enrollment targets.
- Build a good relationship with students and guide them throughout the enrollment process.
- Coordinate with the internal team for smooth onboarding of enrolled students.
- Maintain accurate daily sales and follow-up reports.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales / EdTech / Skill Development / Career Counselling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to handle objections and convert leads.
- Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools is an advantage.
- Kannada and English communication skills are preferred.
