We're hiring a Senior Engineer who lives and breathes AI development. This is not a supporting role. You'll be owning end-to-end AI solutions, communicating directly with clients, and making architectural decisions that define how MoonDive builds. You bring focused depth, sharp instincts, and the kind of experience that comes from actually shipping things that work.

What You'll Own

- Architect and build AI-powered features and pipelines using frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, and open-source providers, choosing the right model for each use case

- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot daily to ship faster without sacrificing quality

- Own the full development lifecycle, from requirement gathering with clients to production deployment

- Lead client-facing technical conversations and translate business needs into engineering solutions

- Design and build RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered features for real-world use cases: search, classification, extraction, automation, and beyond

- Set engineering standards, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers on the team

- Collaborate with product and design to scope features with technical precision

- Proactively identify risks, surface blockers early, and drive solutions independently

- Keep up with the AI landscape and bring new capabilities into MoonDive's stack before competitors do

What We're Looking For

- 3 to 4 years of total engineering experience, with at least 2 years at your most recent or previous company. We value depth,



not a resume full of 6-month stints

- 1.5+ years of hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features to production using frontier model APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini. This is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have

- Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as a core part of how you build

- Real-world experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, or similar) in shipped projects

- Strong proficiency in Python, with working comfort in Node.js and TypeScript inside a Next.js codebase

- Practical understanding of evals, prompt testing, and cost and latency trade-offs. You know the difference between an AI demo and an AI product

- Strong client communication skills. You can simplify complex technical topics, manage expectations, and represent MoonDive professionally in every interaction

Valuable to Have

- Deep experience with Claude Code, Codex, open AI, and Anthropic API stack

- Experience with multi-agent AI systems or agentic workflows (LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom)

- Proven Machine Learning experience: you've built, trained, and deployed ML models in production

- Fine-tuning workflows on open or closed models

- Hands-on with n8n or similar workflow automation tools

- Prior experience in a client-facing or consulting engineering role
