Position : Sr. Accounting Associate

Role Overview

Stride Logistics & Consultants is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support the accounting operations of a Canada-based apparel business.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics ERP , solid accounting fundamentals, and the ability to independently manage core accounting activities in an inventory-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage AP, AR, General Ledger and daily accounting operations
- Process and review vendor invoices, customer billing, payments and reconciliations
- Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and accounting adjustments
- Support inventory accounting, costing and reconciliations
- Own key activities supporting month-end and year-end close
- Support GST/HST accounting and reconciliations
- Review vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare accounting schedules, reports and management information
- Support external accountants and auditors with required documentation
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained on time

Must-Have Requirements




- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience – mandatory
- strong English communication – mandatory. Fluent Hind is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, reconciliations and month-end close
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities during EST business hours

Experience in apparel, retail, wholesale, distribution or other inventory-driven businesses is strongly preferred.
