Security Analyst profile (2-3 years experience)

- Bachelor’s degree in computers, cybersecurity or information security.
- Monitor network traffic and security logs to detect unusual patterns, intrusions and policy violations.
- Report network and security alarms/notifications to the concerned stakeholders within the defined SLA.
- Valuable hands-on-experience working with SIEM tools like Arcsight, Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc
- Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to proactively identify flaws in IT Infrastructure.
- Experience working with vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable Nessus, Qualys, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nmap etc.
- Detect and investigate security breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
- Recommend appropriate security controls to protect information assets.
- Deliver sessions on security and phishing attempts across the organization.
- Good communication skills.
- Fair knowledge of cybersecurity controls and best practices.
- Maintain proper documentation, prepare reports and presentations regarding security breaches and incidents.
