nJob Overview

nWe are looking for experienced Automotive Seating / Seat Design Engineers with strong hands-on experience in CATIA and automotive product design/development. The candidate will be responsible for supporting complete seat design programs and working closely with customer engineering teams.

nKey Responsibilities

n

- Lead and support complete automotive seat design and development activities.
n
- Develop and review 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and technical documentation using CATIA.
n
- Work on seat packaging, ergonomics, safety, comfort and manufacturing feasibility.
n
- Coordinate with customer engineering, styling and manufacturing teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
n
- Conduct design reviews, identify technical issues and support effective problem-solving.
n
- Coordinate and provide technical guidance to offshore design and development teams.
n




- Ensure seat designs meet customer specifications, quality requirements and applicable automotive standards.
n
- Support project planning, timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
n
- Communicate customer requirements and feedback effectively with internal engineering teams.
n
- Support the integration of seat designs with the overall vehicle architecture.
n

nKey Requirements

n

n
- BE/ME in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering
n
- 3–12 years of relevant experience in Automotive Seating / Seat Design
n
- Robust hands-on experience in CATIA
n
- Experience in automotive product design/development
n
- Good technical and customer communication skills
n
- JLPT N3/N2 – Mandatory
n
- Willingness to work in Tokyo/Kanagawa, Japan
